Vivantify Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced Mainframe Engineer to develop, enhance, and support applications on the IBM i/AS400 platform.

The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on RPG/RPG ILE and CL/400 expertise, with strong DB2/400 query optimization and batch job monitoring. You will collaborate with business users and stakeholders, support deployments, testing, and production stability, and participate in API development and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM i/AS400 platform.
• Design, code, test, and deploy RPG400/RPG ILE applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize DB2/400 queries and SQL programs.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects.
