Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is seeking a senior Big Data developer with Spark/Scala expertise to partner with stakeholders and drive development following established standards. The role emphasizes maintainability, strong communication, and collaboration with Paris-based counterparts and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of development experience in Big Data (Spark/Scala).
• Experience with FitNesse extensively.
• Experience in Agile environments using Jira and Scrum.
• Experience with Credit Risk topics in Banking (RWA, rating model) would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to improve their use of the application.
• Realize development following application standards.
• Demonstrate expertise in Big Data concepts and understanding of user expectations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to validate TA and US realization.
