Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a Specialist - SFDC Data Cloud for its Noida office. The role demands 8+ years in hands-on development with deep Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud expertise.

You will implement data integration, modeling, and pipelines, customize components, and ensure seamless data flow across Salesforce modules and third-party systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, marketing, or related field.
• 8+ years in hands-on technical/development role.
• Strong Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) and data integration, modeling, and management.
• Deep Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio.
• Proficiency in Salesforce development tools: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SQL, AMPscript.
• Experience in Sales and Service Clouds.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle phases.
• Experience with Git or other SCM.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data integration, modeling, and pipelines in Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Customize Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud components (AMPscript, SQL, API integrations).
• Integrate Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud with Salesforce modules and third-party systems.
• Lead business requirements, design, configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Work on new development, bug fixes, and enhancements to SFDC solutions.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards for marketing performance and data trends.
• Test Marketing Cloud campaigns and Data Cloud processes; optimize for performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, data analysts, and stakeholders to meet goals.
• Manage release and environment, sandbox planning, migrations, version control.
• Document design specs, processes, and user guides; provide support as needed.

Job Description

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a hands-on technical/development role.
• Data Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), data integration, data modeling, and data management practices, DLO, DMO, Calculated Insights, Activations
• Marketing Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, SQL, and AMPscript.
• Good experience in Sales and Service Clouds
• Knowledge of all phases of software development including requirement, analysis, design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
• Experience in source control tool like Git
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Data Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage data integration, data modeling, and data pipelines using Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly known as Salesforce CDP).
• Customization: Customize Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud components, including AMPscript, SQL queries, and API integrations to meet business needs.
• Integration: Integrate Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud with other Salesforce modules and third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration and testing.
• Work on new development initiatives, as well as bug fixes and enhancements of the existing SFDC solutions.
• Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into marketing performance and data trends.
• Testing and Optimization: Conduct thorough testing of Marketing Cloud campaigns and Data Cloud processes; optimize solutions for performance and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
• Release and Environment Management including sandbox usage planning, metadata and data migration, environment comparisons and version control.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and user guides.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions, addressing issues and implementing improvements as needed.
