Job summary

Genpact is actively seeking a Specialist in Supply Chain - Procurement to drive strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations. The role emphasizes data-informed decision making, risk management, and alignment with business objectives.

You will collaborate with internal teams to design procurement plans, monitor supplier performance, and stay ahead of market trends, leveraging AI capabilities to optimize cost and value across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in business, economics, finance or related field.
• MBA or analytics advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors through research, networking, and market intelligence to meet procurement requirements.
• Assess supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and pricing models to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements and cost efficiencies.
• Monitor supplier performance, proactively addressing discrepancies, risks, or service issues to maintain consistent delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs, requirements, and timelines for effective procurement planning.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and best practices to inform sourcing strategies and decisions.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting on supplier evaluations, contracts, and procurement activities to support decision-making and compliance.
