Pearson EL&S is seeking an experienced Event and Resource Scheduler based in India to support planning, coordination, and delivery of live training programs for enterprise customers across regions and time zones.

You will collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Operations, Finance, vendors, and customers to ensure timely, high-quality training delivery, registrations, logistics, and post-sales implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in scheduling, resource coordination, training operations, customer service, sales operations, project coordination, or administrative operations.
  • Experience supporting international stakeholders or distributed teams preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update class schedules for live training events, including instructor assignments, delivery dates, time zones, and class status.
  • Coordinate with sales, delivery managers, instructors, vendors, and customers to confirm training requirements and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Support learner registration, roster management, attendance validation, completion tracking, and post-class documentation.
  • Maintain accurate operational records in Pearson-approved systems, trackers, shared workspaces, and customer-facing portals as required.
  • Monitor upcoming classes for readiness, including instructor confirmation, platform access, learner communications, materials availability, and delivery dependencies.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to support purchase order tracking, invoice review, billing questions, and delivery documentation.
  • Identify operational risks, communicate issues early, and recommend process improvements that improve scheduling accuracy, customer experience, and delivery efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Pearson EL&S training delivery and sales operations.

Job description

Pearson- English Language & Skills (EL&S) is seeking an experienced Event and Resource Scheduler based in India to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of live training programs for enterprise customers. This role supports Pearson’s Enterprise training operations by coordinating class schedules, instructor resources, learner registrations, delivery logistics, and post-sales implementation activities across multiple regions and time zones. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Delivery, Operations, Finance, vendor partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely, and scalable training delivery. This role reports into Pearson EL&S Sales Operations and may support global programs aligned to India, APAC, EMEA, and North America delivery needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event and Resource Scheduling: Coordinate instructor availability, class dates, time zones, delivery formats, and customer requirements for instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training programs.
  • Post-Sales Implementation: Support confirmed training engagements by managing registration setup, learner communications, delivery readiness, platform access, attendance tracking, and operational handoffs.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with internal teams, customers, instructors, and vendor partners, ensuring timely responses and accurate follow-through.
  • Operational Coordination: Track delivery milestones, update scheduling systems, monitor open actions, elevate risks, and help ensure each class is staffed, scheduled, and ready for successful delivery.
  • Finance and Documentation Support: Assist with invoice validation, delivery documentation, attendance records, purchase order support, and issue resolution in partnership with Finance and Operations.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting scheduling, resource coordination, customer operations, training delivery, learning services, sales operations, or related business support functions.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across India and global time zones.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and shared tracking tools; ability to learn Pearson systems and customer platforms quickly.
  • Comfort working with data, rosters, schedules, attendance records, instructor availability, and operational status trackers.
  • Preferred: experience in IT training, professional learning, customer success, education operations, project coordination, or global delivery support.

  • Comfortable working India business hours with flexibility to support occasional meetings or delivery needs across global time zones.
