Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ E&TC required.
• Knowledge of EV energy systems and vehicle electronics.
• Experience with CAD tools and PLM software advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage PLM release activities at vehicle stages & UG NX handling.
• Support vehicle programs through design, prototype builds, testing and production.
• Assist in vehicle electrical architecture and circuit diagram preparation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for testing, homologation and SOPs.
• CAN communication analysis and diagnostics troubleshooting.
• Prepare diagnostic manuals and SOP documents.
• Support homologation and certification activities for electrical systems.

Job description

Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics / E&TC, having knowledge in Electric vehicle and its energy systems/ machines etc

Job Responsibilities

• Layout and packaging of parts in vehicle DMU considering all aspects of functionality, assembly (DFA) / serviceability (DFS).
• PLM (Teamcenter) release activity at various vehicle stages & UG NX 2D,3D handling, drawing preparation & review
• Support vehicle programs through the entire life cycle including; design, prototype builds, vehicle test and production.
• Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture & support for preparation of circuit diagram at vehicle system level
• Co-ordination with various cross functional teams for testing, Homologation, vehicle batches (Proto, Pilot, SOP), Plant, service
• CAN communication analysis, diagnostics troubleshooting, DTC analysis and software flashing using standard automotive tools.
• Technical document preparation for Diagnostic manual, various standard operating procedure, Homologation requirement documents
• Support homologation and certification activities related to electrical and electronic systems.

Technical/ Functional

• Good understanding of basic theories and design concepts of different electronics and electrical components used in vehicles with Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).
• Software skills : CAD , UG NX or equivalent
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management.
• Know-how of applicable standards/ regulations and their application for Internal Combustion Engines (ICE)
• Knowledge of new trending features like TFT, Immobilizer, Integrated starter generator, App connectivity etc
• Knowledge of vehicle harness design considerations, wire size selection, power connectors & vehicle electrical insulation requirements etc.
