Job summary

Skillventory is seeking a talented PCB design engineer to design and develop automotive/EV PCBs, including multilayer, high-speed, mixed-signal and power electronics boards. You will handle PCB layout, placement, routing, stack-up and design release to ensure robust product performance.

The role requires collaboration with circuit, mechanical, EMC, manufacturing and suppliers, creating Gerber outputs, performing DRC/3D checks, and driving continuous improvement in PCB quality and design

Role & responsibilities :

• Design and develop automotive/EV PCBs, including multilayer, high-speed, mixed-signal and power electronics boards.
• Handle PCB layout, component placement, routing, stack-up and design release.
• Ensure designs meet SI/PI, EMI/EMC, thermal, DFM/DFA and manufacturability requirements.
• Prepare Gerber, ODB++, drill, fabrication and assembly outputs and perform DRC/3D checks.
• Create and maintain PCB libraries, symbols, footprints and 3D models.
• Collaborate with circuit, mechanical, EMC, manufacturing and suppliers for design finalization.
• Support PCB failure analysis, testing, field feedback and design improvements.
• Work on automotive/EV electronics such as BMS, OBC, inverter, MCU and DC-DC converters.
• Follow IPC standards, automotive PCB design practices and configuration/change control.
• Drive continuous improvement in PCB quality, design process and turnaround time.
