Job summary

Madhi Foundation is seeking a data-oriented professional to contribute to program impact evaluations, data collection, and research design. The role involves analyzing program data, supporting literature reviews, and building capacity for data collection with field teams.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to refine measurement tools and present insights clearly for diverse audiences, while maintaining strong planning and organizational skills in a deadline-driven NGO environment.

Qualifications

• Master's in humanities/social sciences with 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in data analysis using Excel; pivots essential
• Education sector exposure is an asset
• Experience and interest in field data collection
• Experience and interest in secondary research is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal impact evaluations of programs and A/B testing to optimize design.
• Perform advanced analytics using research and secondary data on Excel.
• Support research design and instrument development for mixed-method research.
• Conduct literature reviews and annotated bibliographies for current programmes.
• Support training for data collection and capacity building.
• Organise qualitative data collection activities with team members.

In this role, some of your responsibilities will include

• Conduct internal impact evaluations of programs and optimal A/B testing on relevant program features to optimize design.
• Perform advanced analytics using research and secondary data on Excel.
• Research design: Supporting pilot M&E review/design of monitoring instruments & research instruments for mixed-method research.
• Literature reviews: Scoping and conducting relevant literature reviews/annotated bibliography around Madhi's current programmes.
• Capacity building: Supporting training for data collection as needed.
• Support respective team members to organise qualitative data collection activities
• Establish systems and processes to capture learnings from implementation and help the team make incremental changes to the programme to improve process and impact outcomes

Prerequisites include:

• A master's degree preferably in the humanities or social sciences with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience in data analysis using Excel (knowledge of pivots is essential)
• Exposure and Experience in the education sector would be an asset
• Experience and interest in data collection in the field
• Experience and interest in secondary research would be an asset
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and Google Suite

• You will be expected to bring your own laptop with updated software (MS Office 2016).
