Job Description

The role is a GBS Specialist responsible for managing the activities pertaining to R2R Operations handled by outsourced partner ensuring accurate book closure, compliances and KPI/SLA achievements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate month end and quarter end books closure activities for all India and Global entities.
• Review all creditors’ balances (both payable and not payable) and ensure account hygiene.
• Monitor the BRS and prevent any bank outgoings without proper accounting; ensure all collections are accounted for timely.
• Track the GRIR ageing and ensure no open GRIR beyond 180 days.
• Track all open advances in vendor accounts and ensure no aged advances beyond 90 days.
• Ensure MIS and schedules are circulated to leadership as per agreed timelines.
• Engage with auditors to resolve queries and ensure smooth audit closure, maintaining compliance with FSCP and internal checklists.
• Maintain comprehensive process documentation, implement feedback from the Controllers Forum, and proactively identify accounting risks with suggested controls.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification: CA/CWA or equivalent is mandatory. A postgraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a tier 1 institute is preferred.
• Minimum work experience: 8+ years.
