Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a seasoned Hardware Asset Management lead in Chennai to own the full HAM lifecycle—from procurement to retirement—and act as the central contact for HAM processes. You will maintain AMDB records, drive audits, and coordinate with Procurement, IT Operations and Finance to ensure policy compliance.

The role requires 8+ years in HAM/ITAM, with strong ITIL/ISO knowledge and proficiency in HAM tools like ServiceNow and CMDB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years in Hardware IT Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of HAM lifecycle and ITIL/ISO standards.
• Experience with HAM tools such as ServiceNow, SSCM, and CMDB.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for HAM processes.
• Own and manage the entire hardware asset lifecycle—from procurement to retirement.
• Maintain accurate asset records in the Asset Management Database (AMDB).
• Coordinate with Procurement, IT Operations, Finance and other departments to ensure HAM policy compliance.
• Perform regular audits, reconciliations, and inventory checks.
• Analyze asset data to identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Lead strategic initiatives related to asset tracking, governance, and technology refresh cycles.
• Ensure proper tagging, tracking, allocation and disposal of all hardware assets.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc HAM reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Define and continuously improve HAM policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Collaborate with global IT and business teams to align HAM practices.
