Job summary

Siemens in India seeks a BE/M.Tech/MS Electrical Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience to perform power system studies, including steady-state, dynamic, protection and harmonics, using PSS SINCAL, PSS E, ETAP and PSCAD. The role is based in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore or Kolkata and offers exposure to city-scale projects.

You will develop engineering specifications, support project decisions, and ensure IEC/ANSI standard compliance while contributing to bids and orders and helping Siemens deliver

Qualifications

• Experience of around 3-5 years.
• Knowledge of power system studies like Steady state, Dynamic, Protection, Harmonic etc.
• Knowledge of various IEC and ANSI standards for power system studies
• Experience with power system analysis tools: PSS SINCAL, PSS E, ETAP, PSCAD

Responsibilities

• Perform EMT, Insulation Coordination, VFTO studies as per requirements
• Prepare Power System Study Report
• Provide technical expertise into project decision making process
• Develop Philosophies and Engineering Specifications if required
• Produce Techno-Economic studies to back up Engineering decisions
• Follow up & acquire orders, ensure timely execution of orders as per customer requirements & achieve business goals
