Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Thane, India, is seeking an experienced professional to manage overall order processes for CSS orders. You will coordinate with sales, proposals, engineering, operations and customers to ensure drawings, approvals and inspections progress smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation and CRM skills, deep knowledge of MV power distribution and IS/IEC standards, and the ability to handle complex escalations and delays while keeping customers informed.

Qualifications

• Education: BE Electrical Engineering with 8–10 years of experience, or Diploma in Electrical with 12–14 years.

Responsibilities

• Techno-commercial contract review
• Coordinate with Engineering for submission of drawings and other engineering documents to customer
• Get drawing approval from customer
• Submit claims and negotiate with customer
• Cost and milestone monitoring throughout order execution
• Close coordination with Operations and logistics for scheduling of order inspection

• Coordinate for post-dispatch supervision / service activities

Main responsibilities:

Overall order management for CSS orders which include coordination with sales, Proposals, Engineering, Operations Teams and Customer including following Key Responsibilities:

1. 1) Techno-commercial contract review
2. 2) Coordination with Engineering for submission of Drawings and other engineering documents to customer
3. 3) Getting drawing approval from customer
4. 4) Claim submission and negotiation with customer
5. 5) Cost and overall milestone monitoring throughout the order execution
6. 6) Close coordination with Operations and logistic for scheduling of order inspection
7. 7) Coordination with customer for Inspection and dispatch related activities
8. 8) Coordination for Post dispatch supervision / service activities
9. 9) Escalation management which includes handling communication with higher management internally and at customer end

Candidate should possess:

• Good knowledge about medium voltage power distribution system and protection system for Compact Substations ( CSS)
• Knowledge of IS/IEC standards applicable for MV systems.
• Should have CRM development skill and negotiation skill. Able to connect at higher management level at customer level.
• Good Communication skill both written as well as verbal. Should be able to communicate in contractual language with customers
• Capable to interact independently with client for technical discussions.
• Prior experience in customer handling functions will be added advantage.
• Able to handle complex situation and pressure including escalations from customer, delays from Operations due to unforeseen external factors, post-delivery issues etc.

Education: B.E. Electrical Engineering with minimum 8 to 10 Years of Experience. Diploma in electrical with 12-14 years' experience.
