Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Bengaluru seeks a Specialist Engineer to support SAP HANA deployments globally, with emphasis on the APJ region. The role is hybrid, requiring ~2 days per week in an office and occasional weekend standby.

Qualifications

What you'll do

• Provide technical support for HPE Solutions for SAP HANA deployments across the world, with focus on APJ region.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, virtualization and operating system.

• Must be comfortable working in APJ time zone [5 AM - 2 PM IST] on a regular basis and provide standby support on at least one weekend of each month.

What you need to bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• 5 to 7 years of experience supporting HPE compute / storage products.
• Linux skills is must.
• Strong troubleshooting in compute, storage, networking, and Linux.

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience with PoCs, deployments, or customer facing technical roles.
• Proficiency in scripting/log analysis (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
• SAP HANA database skills.
• Certification in SLES, RHEL or SAP HANA administration.
