Job summary

Standard Chartered in Bengaluru is seeking a Specialist, Contract Management Services to support the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts within the SCM COE, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. You will help manage contract and catalogue administration, drive improvements, and ensure adherence to procurement policies.

Specialist, Contract Management Services

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is responsible for the overall commercial and risk management with the bank’s external third-party suppliers. To meet increasing business demands, the SCM team is putting in place a new capability to support Contract Managers/Owners meet their obligations with regards to the management of the third-party contracts that they are accountable for.

The Generalist, Contract Management Services (CMS) supports the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. He/she is responsible for delivering Contract Management Services that provide generic support to Contract Managers/Owners like….

• Manage the entire Contract & Catalogue Administrative requirement on the SCM COE space.
• Drive continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that Business meets all Contract & Catalogue Administration related support in SCM COE.

Business

• Ensure to meet the SCM Operational target set for the FY2026
• Adhere SCM Procurement Policies & Standards
• Ensure all customer queries are addressed within the agreed SLA timeline.
• Focus on improving stakeholder experience and satisfaction

Processes

• GOI contract ID creation in PSAP system
• ER – Risk group approvals in SCBUY
• Contract Administration activities in PSAP & SCBUY system
• Catalogue Administration activities in ePro system (Creation, Modification & Inactivation)
• Drive Process Improvements (Special Projects & Data Quality Initiatives)

People & Talent

• Good understanding & experience of Contract Administration process
• Effective presentation and communication skills

• Ensure to align with Risk & Compliance team and follow the procedures defined as per TPRM standards.

Governance

• Implement process improvement in BAU.
• Ensure all DOI documents are updated up to date.
• Ensure all GPS process communications are followed in BAU.
• Ensure all the resources are 100% cross functionality trained within the Contract Management team.

• Basic knowledge of procurement services and operations, and supplier management best practices.
• Attention to detail and fast learner who can work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
