Job summary

Data Axle India in Pune, India, is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) Specialist to drive enterprise and mid-market pipeline generation. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Enablement to translate go-to-market objectives into actionable prospecting strategies.

You will focus on territory planning, account mapping, ICP-aligned audience creation, and outbound program setup, acting as the bridge between strategy and execution for targeted, data-driven outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Operations, RevOps, or related roles.
• Experience in data-driven prospecting, audience building, or sales operations support.
• Familiarity with B2B data providers.
• Experience working in a global or offshore support model preferred.

General Summary:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) Specialist is responsible for the strategic planning and execution support of enterprise and mid-market pipeline generation initiatives. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Enablement to translate go-to-market objectives into actionable prospecting strategies.

The BDR Specialist focuses on territory planning, account mapping, audience creation, and outbound program setup, enabling Business Development Representatives and Sales teams to effectively execute outreach. This role serves as a critical bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that prospecting efforts are targeted, data-driven, and aligned to ideal customer profiles (ICPs).

Roles and Responsibilities

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of B2B prospecting strategy, account-based approaches, and pipeline generation principles
• Experience with account mapping, territory planning, and audience segmentation
• Proficiency in working with data platforms and tools to build and manage prospect lists
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into structured targeting strategies
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams
• Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sequencing tools)

Education, Experience, and Certification: *

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
