Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. in India seeks an experienced SAP FICA consultant to lead ECC to S/4HANA migration, blueprinting, configuration, data migration, testing, cutover, and Hypercare.

You will coordinate with ABAP teams, manage BP conversions and FI-GL integration, and mentor junior consultants while ensuring smooth go-live and post-production support.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA FICA migration/conversion activities.
• Perform FICA blueprinting, configuration, data migration, testing, cutover, and Hypercare.
• Manage BP conversion, Contract Accounts, open items, and historical data migration.
• Configure core FICA processes including payments, dunning, interest, returns, security deposits, and write-offs.
• Manage FI-GL integration, revenue posting, reconciliation, and mass processing activities.
• Integrate FICA with SD, FI-CO, BRIM, and related systems.
• Conduct requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design with stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements and interfaces.
• Execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, Go-Live, and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide solutions across implementation and migration activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and drive SAP FICA best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Total experience: 9+ years
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICA implementation and configuration.
• Must-have experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion.
• Strong knowledge of Contract Partner, Contract Account, Posting, Payments, Dunning, Interest, Returns, Security Deposits, and Write-offs.
• Experience with Business Partner conversion and FICA master data/open-item migration.
• Strong understanding of FI-GL integration, revenue posting, and reconciliation.
• Experience integrating FICA with FI-CO, SD, and/or BRIM.
• Experience with LTMC/Migrate Your Data, LSMW, and BAPIs for data migration.
• Experience preparing Functional Specifications/WRICEF and working with ABAP teams.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA FICA features and CDS views.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Utilities, Telecom, Insurance, Public Sector, or Subscription businesses is preferred.
