Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai, India invites applications for a Specialist - Application to join our global IT team. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate applications, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance across borders.

As part of a global matrix organization, you will coordinate with architects, platform leads, vendors and business stakeholders, owning incidents, changes and releases while driving continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Min 3 yrs of experience in Application Management or Application Operations.
• Good understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes and application lifecycle management.
• Experience working with global teams and third-party service providers.
• Knowledge of system integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Own the full application lifecycle, from demand intake to retirement.
• Ensure application stability, performance, security, and compliance.
• Coordinate Level 2/Level 3 support and align with ITSM processes.
• Act as the primary IT contact for business stakeholders and vendors.

Role Purpose: The Global Application Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of assigned corporate applications, ensuring they meet business, technical, security, and compliance requirements. The role collaborates with global architects, platform leads, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient application services across Nordex.
