Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS technical consultant in Hyderabad with 6+ years of hands-on expertise in R12.2.x, GL, P2P and FA, plus strong SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux, and OAF/Forms/Reports. You will design, implement, upgrade and support complex EBS solutions, collaborating across functional teams.

Expect responsibilities spanning architecture, data conversions, interfaces and workflows, with a focus on delivering robust, scalable Oracle applications and post-implementation support

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience as Oracle Application Technical consultant in Oracle EBS R12.2.x.
• Expertise in General Ledger, P2P, and Fixed Assets modules.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials/SCM and end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, upgrade and post-implementation support of Oracle EBS.
• Create technical design docs for conversions, interfaces and reports.
• Troubleshoot SRs and work with users across processes; ensure daily production support.

Job description

Location: INDIA - HYDERABAD - BIRLASOFT OFFICE

Area(s) of responsibility

• Must have 6+ Years’ experience as Oracle Application Technical consultant in implementation, upgrade and customization of Oracle e-Business Suite Applications (R12.2.5/12.2.9). This includes system study, design, development, post implementation maintenance and support of Oracle EBS.
• Excellent communication skills and expert in functionally/technically in following Oracle EBS modules. General Ledger (GL),Buy2Pay (P2P),Fixed Assets (FA).
• Strong product knowledge or Oracle Financials/SCM modules and Domain Knowledge process and functionality Ability to lead and articulate end-to-end business processes and the key integration/ control points, work cross-functionally across different business processes.
• Complete Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite Architecture and underlying table structures and their usage todesign efficient program units. Must have worked on Oracle Applications R12 series. Good Working Knowledge of Oracle Database Structure, SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports (BI / XML / RDF), OracleWorkflowand APIs, OAF integration & Oracle Apex.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
• Strong Knowledge in customizing existing OAF Screens / Personalization, forms and reports and technically proficient in RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
• Write technical design documents for conversions, extensions, interfaces, and reports. Troubleshoot issues, including creation/follow-up of Oracle service requests (SRs).
• Building Effective Relationships, Customer Focus, Effective Communication and Interaction with users for - fixed bugs and provides daily production support.
• Hands-on experience in Data Conversion, Data Migration, Report Generation and Developing Interfaces within several modules in Oracle Applications.
