CrowdStrike India in Pune is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage software and technology purchasing, oversee end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes, and drive compliant, cost-efficient sourcing in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You will partner with IT, Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal and HR to understand software needs, lead negotiations, manage contracts and renewals, and push process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in SaaS/technology industry.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay processes and systems.
• Proficiency in procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP/finance systems used for purchasing and payments.
• Knowledge of contract management systems (CLM).
• Familiarity with SaaS pricing models.
• Experience using AI to enhance procurement decisions.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team to purchase software and technology for the business, manage end-to-end procurement operations, and improve our Source-to-Pay processes in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will work closely with business teams to buy and renew software, cloud services, and technology tools, while ensuring good

value, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay lifecycle for software and technology purchases, from requisition to payment, and improve procurement workflows for efficiency and compliance
• Review and process software purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and resolve invoices on hold
• Review, negotiate, and manage software and technology contracts (subscriptions, licenses, renewals, order forms) with vendors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, SLAs, and company policies, and work with the Legal team on complex contract terms and risk
• Maintain the contract repository (CLM) and track software renewal dates, licenses, and subscription terms
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for software and technology categories, along with Marketing and Corporate Meeting
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and compare vendors on price, features, security, and terms;
• conduct market research and supplier analysis
• Partner with internal teams (IT, Engineering, Security, Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR) to understand software needs
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration on procurement requirements
• Guide business stakeholders on the software buying process, including approvals, security reviews, and timelines
• Present procurement strategies and outcomes to senior leadership
• Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously within defined timelines
• Implement process improvements and automation to speed up software purchasing
• Track and report on procurement metrics such as savings, renewals, and spend
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in SaaS/technology industry
• Proven experience in Source-to-Pay processes and systemsTechnical Skills
• Proficiency in procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement)
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
• Experience with ERP and finance systems used for purchasing and payments
• Knowledge of contract management systems (CLM)
• Familiarity with SaaS pricing models (subscription, per-user, usage-based) and software/technology procurement
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
