Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions in Noida is seeking an experienced IMS Core L3 Engineer to join our core CS network team. The role requires deep expertise in IMS, Ericsson MSC-BC, and related protocols, with a track record of handling high-availability telecom networks.

You will work in a hybrid model with 4 days in the office and 1 day work-from-home, focusing on incident management, proactive maintenance, and seamless service restoration for core network elements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IMS core networks.
• Experience with Ericsson MSC-BC and core CS network.
• Proficient in SIP, Diameter, SS7 and GTP protocols.
• Knowledge of Unix, NFV, and VoLTE.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and restore services for Core CS network elements.
• Collaborate with 1st line to analyze alarms and perform software rollout.
• Plan and execute network changes, configurations and integrations.

Job description

Infinite Computer Solutions is hiring IMS core L3 Engineer for Noida Location.

Experience:10+Yrs

Location : Noida

Shift Timing: Rotational Shift 24*7

Work Mode: 4 Days WFO & 1 Day WFH

Mandatory Skills : CS/PS/IMS, Protocol Knowledge (SIP, Diameter, SS7, GTP), Ericsson MSC-BC

Ericsson Nodes experience is mandatory.

Your day to day:

• Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality and continuity of service and the restoring time for Core CS Network Elements.
• In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms in order to detect and eliminate faults. Design, create and load data configuration, perform software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions.

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

• In case of incident assure trouble shooting analysis and all the repair actions, including vendor support escalation, in order to achieve service restoration of Core Network.
• Perform proactive maintenance activities to prevent incidents and constantly optimize the network. Take corrective measures based on performance management and indicators trend analysis
• Assure planned work activities, network rollout, configuration build and load, software upgrades and parameter changes in core CS network ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalities
• Perform acceptance test and integration/configuration activities of new network elements of the core CS network.
• Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other teams involved in deployment and operations activities in the network

With these skills, you are a great candidate:

• Very good knowledge of core network principles for 2G/3G technologies, Ericsson MSC-BC, MGW and STP. Knowledge of Unix, NFV, vMSS and VoLTE.
• Good knowledge of core network protocols : C7, SIP, Diameter
• Analyse and interpret traces (wireshark traces, IRIS traces, network element traces and logs);
• Able to design and create services within MSC configuration.
• English (fluent spoken and written)
• 5-7 years of experience in Ericsson Core CS Network Operations and Maintenance activities
• Ericsson & Huawei core network training and certificates or equivalent advantageous
