Job summary

Cynosure Corporate Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Core Network Engineer to manage HLR/HSS systems, SIM provisioning, and multi-country telecom operations. The role demands hands-on expertise in provisioning platforms, IMS call flows, and network troubleshooting to ensure operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 10–12 years in telecom core network operations, strong knowledge of HLR/HSS, STP and DRA, and hands-on experience with Oracle/SQL databases, UNIX, and scripting.

Qualifications

• BE in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in telecom core network operations.
• Strong knowledge of HLR/HSS, STP, and DRA systems.
• Experience with IMS call flows such as VoLTE/VoWiFi and handovers.

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain HLR/HSS systems in a multi-country environment.
• Support SIM provisioning and SIM profile management.
• Handle provisioning of core network components and IT systems.
• Collaborate with core network teams, architects, vendors, and country operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning platform and HLR/HSS issues.
• Work with IMS teams to resolve VoLTE/VoWiFi handover issues.
• Perform Wireshark tracing and debugging for infrastructure incidents.
• Drive process automation and operational improvements.
• Plan SIM capacity and forecast operational requirements.

We are looking for a highly skilled Core Network Engineer to manage and maintain HLR/HSS systems and provisioning platforms in a multi-country telecom environment. The role involves handling SIM lifecycle management, core network provisioning, troubleshooting IMS call flow issues, and supporting operational excellence across telecom network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, operate, and maintain HLR/HSS systems in a multi-country environment
  
• Support SIM and voucher management systems operations and maintenance
  
• Handle provisioning of core network components and IT systems
  
• Collaborate with core network teams, architects, vendors, and country operations teams
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to provisioning platforms and HLR/HSS systems
  
• Manage SIM profile provisioning, testing, and lifecycle management
  
• Work with IMS teams to resolve VoLTE, VoWiFi, USSI, and handover-related issues
  
• Perform Wireshark tracing and debugging for infrastructure-related incidents
  
• Support geographical expansion projects through HLR integration and configuration
  
• Drive process automation and operational improvements
  
• Plan SIM capacity and forecast operational requirements
  

Requirements

• BE in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
  
• 10–12 years of experience in telecom core network operations
  
• Strong knowledge of HLR/HSS, STP, and DRA systems
  
• Experience with IMS call flows such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, and handovers
  
• Hands-on experience in SIM provisioning and SIM profile management
  
• Strong database knowledge in Oracle, SQL Server, or similar platforms
  
• Experience with PL/SQL, UNIX administration, and batch scripting
  
• Knowledge of Wireshark tracing and troubleshooting
  
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
  
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  
• Shell scripting/programming knowledge is an added advantage
