Job summary

Qualifications

• B.Ed / D.Ed / M.Ed in Special Education with valid RCI registration.
• 2–5 years of hands-on work with children with ASD or developmental disabilities.
• Evidence-based approaches such as ABA, structured teaching, and developmental interventions.
• Experience with digital tools; tele-therapy is a plus.
• Strong communication in English and Hindi; regional language is an advantage.
• Willing to travel extensively across India, roughly 50-60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assess children with neurodevelopmental conditions (ASD, ADHD, ID, learning disabilities) and build IEPs using platform modules.
• Run and oversee intervention sessions at partner centres, schools and homes.
• Onboard and train partners, therapists, special educators and parents to use the platform.
• Track child progress data and prepare outcome reports for families and internal teams.
• Provide structured feedback to product and content teams on module design and usability.
• Represent CognitiveBotics at demos, workshops and parent sessions.
• Maintain documentation and safeguarding standards in every engagement.

Role Description

This is a on-site Special Educator role based in Hyderabad. The Special Educator will design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and learning activities for children with ASD, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse needs and abilities. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, tracking progress, and collaborating with therapists, caregivers, and internal teams to integrate CognitiveBotics’ eLearning tools into daily instruction. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and participating in team meetings to refine intervention strategies. The Special Educator will contribute to content development feedback, ensuring that AI-driven learning modules are pedagogically sound and inclusive.

Requirements

• B.Ed / D.Ed / M.Ed in Special Education, or equivalent, with valid RCI registration
• 2-5 years of hands-on work with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities
• Working knowledge of evidence-based approaches such as ABA principles, structured teaching and developmental interventions
• Comfortable with digital tools; experience with tech-enabled or tele-therapy is a plus
• Strong communication in English and Hindi; a regional language is an advantage
• Willing to travel extensively across India, roughly 50-60% of the time.
