Job summary

Floorspace is seeking an Interior Designer in Bengaluru to lead modular furniture design and client-facing presentations. The role covers end-to-end design development, preparation of execution-ready drawings, and coordination with clients and architects to ensure smooth project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with modular systems, AutoCAD, and rendering tools, with strong presentation skills and ability to manage design centers independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in modular furniture design and understanding of factory working and installation.
• Strong technical knowledge with hardware components from hettich/hafelle.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Space Designer software.
• Computer presentation skills.
• Knowledge of 3D, Google Sketchup, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end interior design planning and client presentations for modular furniture concepts.
• Prepare 'Good-for-execution' drawings using Space Designer software.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities.
• Create client presentations and articulate design inputs.
• Present proposals to clients.
• Coordinate with clients, architects and team for execution.
• Ability to manage design centers and clients independently.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. End to End responsibility of Interior Design preparation and presentation to clients based on Modular furniture design concepts
2. Prepare 'Good-for-execution' drawings using space designer software
3. Prepare Bill of Quantities
4. Prepare client presentations and articulate design inputs
5. Present proposals
6. Coordinate with clients/architects/other personnel for execution of the designs
7. Ability to manage design centres and clients independently

Key Skills:

1. Atleast 1 year experience working in the modular furniture design area and thorough understanding of factory working and installation methods
2. Excellent technical knowledge and experience with hardware components from hettich/hafelle
3. Expert Designing skills in AutoCAD and preferably a leading Space Designer software
4. Computer presentation skills.
5. Knowledge of 3D, Google Sketchup, Photoshop.

Experience: 1-4 years
