Job summary

Mayfair Hotels & Resorts in Odisha seeks a Spa Attendant to uphold the highest standards of hygiene, grooming, and guest service. You will report punctually, maintain spa cleanliness, prepare rooms and equipment, manage supplies, linen, and inventory, and assist in front desk operations as required.

You will support multi-skilling spa treatments, participate in training, attend briefings, and cooperate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth spa operations.

Job description

• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times according to the grooming standard of the spa.


• To clean the treatment rooms and equipment s before and after administering the therapy


• To strictly adhere to the opening and closing procedures of the spa.


• To ensure that all supplies and guest requirements and collected and make ready and available in order to complete assigned task.


• To ensure that adequate par stocks of all consumables be maintained at all times.


• To keep tracks of the number and condition of all linen so as to ensure enough linen is available at all times. Hence record of all damaged linen as well as freshly ordered ones must be maintained at all times.


• To carry out inventory of linen once every month.


• To carry out all spa and beauty treatments to the guests as per multi skilling performance


• To ensure all activities and task assigned are completed to the minimum standard required by the departmental operational manual.


• To deal with all guest requests with a positive can do attitude, courteously and properly in the course of duty.


• To ensure all spa equipments and assets are correctly used and protected.


• To report any damage or loss immediately to the manager and to make a note of the same in the department log book.


• To maintain records and prescribed formats as per department operational manual.


• To ensure that the standards of cleanliness and set-ups are maintained according to the operational manual.


• To follow all established procedures and policies regarding self-conduct and working methods as per the operational manual.


• To ensure to follow safe handling procedure as per safety and hygiene precautions in all work areas all the time.


• To report to the manager any unusual incidents, complaints, unauthorized persons in the spa areas, any missing or damaged spa properties, and lost and found items.


• To report to spa manager any misconduct, sexual harassment and using foul language by any guest or any staff.


• To ensure a consistently high standard of personal hygiene and presentation.


• To actively participate in all spa and departmental training sessions as required.


• To attend briefing and meetings as will be informed by spa manager time to time.


• To assist in building a strong and friendly environment both within the department and also interdepartmental.


• To be aware of spa security, fire and safety procedures at all time.


• To assist in carrying out, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of operating equipment and monthly


• Inventory of consumable items.


• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.


• To assist in reception as when assigned to you depending on your communication skills


• To manage smooth functioning of day to day spa operation, which includes front desk operation, staff duty allocation, staff training, material inventory.


• Conducting briefing in the departmental level whenever required and resolve the day to day issues whether of staffs, clients or interdepartmental which related to time to time.


• Ensuring the safety and hygiene precautions in spa


• Attending morning meeting and discussing any issue regarding spa operation, staff management, material requisitio


• Lead the team in all issues relating to the guest satisfaction, safety, sanitation and spa profit maximization.


• Administering the duties such as spa staff payroll attendance, scheduling, forecasting, stock taking and orders.


• Deal with staff complaints, counsel, monitor the grooming standard and conducts of spa therapists, beautician, hair stylists, GRE and spa housekeepin.


• Ensuring the effective relationship with all other departments in the Resorts.


• Develop and implement marketing strategies according to the business and non- business seasons of spa.


• Create spa package programs, menu engineering, and redesign promotion offer time to time as per business opportunities.


• Administer and maintain spa training manual policies and procedures as per management guidelines.
