Job summary

MetaforgeIT solutions in Vadodara seeks a skilled Piping Design Engineer with 4-7 years of experience to develop piping layouts, route piping, and model equipment in 3D environments.

You will generate clash checks, coordinate with the stress analysis team to optimize routing, extract isometrics, validate MTO/BOQ/EBOM, and maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional experience in piping design.
• Experience with pipe routing, isometrics, and detailing.
• Experience generating clash reports using SPR.
• Coordinate with stress analysis for routing optimization.
• Isometric extraction, MTO/BOQ/EBOM validation, and deliverable checks.
• Documentation of design calculations, BOMs, and revisions.

Job description

Job Descriptions-

• Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Piping Design, or related field.
• Must have 4 - 7 years of professional experience in Piping Design, Pipe Routing, Equipment Modeling, experience on Critical Lines, Isometrics & Detailing.
• Review clash check / review using SPR. Generating clash check reports for comment resolution.
• Generation of inputs from 3D model for stress analysis. Interact with stress analysis team for optimization of routing with sufficient flexibility and support feasibility for an optimized routing.
• Pipe Support modelling in SP3D as per stress analysis output.
• Experience in isometric extraction, MTO/BOQ/EBOM validation, and deliverable checks.
• Work closely with other Engineering group like Process, Layout, Structure, Pressure Part & electrical etc. for receiving various inputs required for developing clash-free piping designs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including design calculations, material take-offs (MTO), and bill of materials (BOM).
• Ensure all design changes and revisions are properly followed and Drawings are updated.
• Perform self-checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in piping design.
