Job summary

MKS Instruments India is seeking a skilled Sourcing Specialist to coordinate with Procurement, RMQ, R&D, and Supplier Quality to identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers who deliver cost savings and supplier reliability.

You will travel up to 50% to support supplier engagement and evaluations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Sourcing Specialist at MSD, you will collaborate closely with Procurement, RMQ, R&D, and Supplier Quality teams to identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that drive cost efficiencies and support business objectives. You will report directly to the Global Head of Sourcing.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and assess potential suppliers.

Skills you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in a chemical-related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience.
• Demonstrated success in identifying suppliers and achieving cost reductions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical ability to interpret data, benchmark costs, and recommend sourcing strategies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP or SAP BW.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to sit, stand, and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Clear communication of ideas and information is essential.
