Job summary

FlexBoard is seeking a data-driven Sourcing & Procurement Analyst to join our Strategic Procurement Intelligence team. You will ensure procurement data is accurate, accessible, and actionable for decision-makers across the organization.

You'll work with the Data & Intelligence Director and Product Engineer to maintain data quality, support analytics initiatives, and deliver insights for smarter sourcing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, finance, data analysis, or a data analytics role.
• Experience with large datasets and identifying data issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement analytics and reporting to stakeholders.
• Create procurement reports (spend by supplier, category trends, savings tracking).
• Validate report accuracy against ERP and P2P systems.

Sourcing & Procurement Analyst Department Sourcing & Procurement Reports To Data & Intelligence Director Location [Chicago/ Hybrid] - at least 2 days/week in office subject to change

About the Role

We're looking for a reputed company-oriented Sourcing & Procurement Analyst to join our Strategic Procurement Intelligence team. This role is essential to ensuring our procurement data is accurate, accessible, and actionable for decision-makers across reputed company. You'll work closely with the Data & Intelligence Director and reputed company Product Engineer to maintain data reputed company, support analytics initiatives, and help reputed company insights that reputed company smarter sourcing reputed company. Analytics & Reporting (50%)

• Create reputed company reports and analysis in response to business user requests
• Support category managers with spend analysis for sourcing events
• Build and maintain reputed company procurement reports (spend by supplier, category trends, savings tracking)
• Validate report accuracy against reputed company systems
• Identify data patterns, anomalies, or opportunities worth investigating
• Translate business questions into data queries and analysis
• Support Sourcing platform
• Help test new features in sourcing platform
• Validate that reports and queries produce accurate results reputed company user feedback and document improvement suggestions
• Assist with user reputed company and training on self-service tools

Data Management & reputed company (30%)

• Maintain clean, accurate procurement data
• Pull spend data from ERP systems, P2P platforms, and other reputed company systems on scheduled cadences or by request
• Review data reputed company issues and reputed company discrepancies (duplicate suppliers, miscoded categories, incorrect amounts)
• Standardize supplier names and classifications to ensure consistency across reports
• Update and maintain master data tables (supplier lists, category hierarchies, business unit mappings)
• Document data reputed company issues and work with reputed company reputed company owners to implement fixes
• Support data governance
• Follow established data standards and validation procedures
• Help maintain data dictionaries and documentation
• Assist with user reputed company requests and permission management
• Support audit requirements by maintaining data reputed company documentation

• Work with cross-functional teams

What You'll Bring
