Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Procurement & Sourcing professional to develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor network, conduct market research, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.

The role leads RFQ processes, negotiates pricing and terms, devises pricing strategies, analyzes cost drivers, and collaborates with sales to identify opportunities, driving value across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive network of qualified vendors across all categories to ensure smooth fulfilment of orders.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and negotiate favourable pricing with suppliers.
• Manage relationships with vendors and retailers, ensuring consistent communication and adherence to service level agreements.
• Lead the entire RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, crafting compelling documents and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for multiple products.
• Develop and implement effective pricing strategies for various product categories.
• Manage the negotiation process to secure favourable pricing, payment terms, and lead times.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering trust and collaboration for long-term success.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to all vendors while maintaining meticulous documentation and adhering to all compliance regulations.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to understand cost drivers across the supply chain, including factors such as capacity utilization and logistics.
• Implement strategies to optimize procurement costs while ensuring high-quality products and reliable delivery.
• Act as a frontline sales resource, proactively identifying potential sales opportunities and collaborating with the sales team to convert them into revenue.
