Job summary

Recity Network Private Limited is seeking a proactive Sourcing Executive for Kovalam, Tamil Nadu to support material sourcing operations at our Kovalam facility.

You will identify and onboard waste material suppliers, manage pricing, coordinate pickups, and track volumes to meet facility targets. The role requires negotiation skills, field work, and collaboration with operations and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or related roles
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working in field-intensive, target-driven environments
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data tracking
• Good communication skills for supplier and vendor coordination

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard waste suppliers, aggregators, and bulk generators in and around Kovalam
• Onboard new suppliers in line with company sourcing guidelines and documentation requirements
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective sourcing partners
• Coordinate daily/weekly material pickups from onboarded suppliers
• Track sourcing volumes against facility targets and flag shortfalls proactively
• Work with the operations team to align sourcing schedules with facility capacity
• Maintain regular communication with existing suppliers to ensure consistent supply
• Address supplier queries, pricing discussions, and payment-related coordination
• Resolve on-ground issues with suppliers and escalate where necessary
• Track local market rates for various waste material categories
• Share pricing insights and market trends with the reporting manager
• Identify opportunities to improve sourcing cost-efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, material inflow, and pricing
• Support timely and accurate reporting of sourcing data for internal review
• Ensure compliance with company sourcing policies and documentation standards
• Act as the primary point of contact for on-ground sourcing partners
• Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams for smooth material handover
• Support partner engagement activities to strengthen sourcing relationships

Role Overview - We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sourcing Executive to support material sourcing operations at our Kovalam facility. This role will focus on identifying, onboarding, and managing waste material suppliers, ensuring a steady and reliable material inflow to meet facility targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Identification & Onboarding

• Identify and evaluate potential waste suppliers, aggregators, and bulk generators in and around Kovalam
• Onboard new suppliers in line with company sourcing guidelines and documentation requirements
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective sourcing partners
• Coordinate daily/weekly material pickups from onboarded suppliers
