Responsibilities

• Quote, issue POs, manage lead times and deliveries for proto-type builds and demo units, and start of production.
• BOM analysis and process verification to improve quality, performance and cost.
• Conduct local supplier and process audits.
• Follow up POs to ensure timely raw material delivery per production plan.
• Monitor supplier non-conformance and drive corrective actions and root-cause analysis.
• Engage with suppliers in Early Supplier Involvement and coordinate cross-functional actions.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for quoting, purchase orders, managing lead times and deliveries of purchased components and assemblies to support proto-type builds, demo unit builds, and start of production.
• BOM analysis and processes verification in order to deliver improvements to product quality, performance and cost.
• Performing local supplier audit and process audit
• PO follow up and ensure timely delivery of raw materials as per production plan.
• Monitor supplier non-conformance performance, identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Proactively engage with suppliers in Early Supplier Involvement initiatives and coordinate cross function team activities around defined actions enabling aligned specifications, supplier validation and delivered quality.
