Job summary

Moglix is seeking a true techno-commercial professional who is excited to take up new challenges. The incumbent will be the rainmaker for Moglix, responsible for managing sourcing activities and building a strategic supplier network.

You will collaborate with the demand team and customers to secure the best rates, improve margins, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve escalations while expanding supplier coverage across steel, metal, MRO and industrial products.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be adept at building supplier networks and managing sourcing processes.
• Experience in handling RFQs and coordinating with internal teams for best-rate sourcing.
• Ability to work with demand teams to drive revenue and ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing a network of suppliers for Steel, Metal, MRO, and Industrial Product.
• Handle RFQs from customers ensuring best rate sourcing in coordination with Support/Business Team.
• Work closely with the Demand Team to ensure conversion and meeting revenue objectives.
• Margin improvement as the core objective through proper sourcing approach.
• Work on a new project in sourcing serviceability for empaneling new customers.
• Meeting/coordinating with customer users and buyers to understand needs for sourcing solutions.
• Market visits to develop new suppliers and new category.
• Identify TOD and M&A opportunities with suppliers.
• Prepare and present data to leadership team.
• Ensure supplier-side contracting to serve customer orders with minimum delay.
• Build rapport with end users and buyers.
• Ensure timely delivery of ordered products.
• Resolve customers' complaints effectively and respectfully.
• Resolve escalations and rejections within TAT.
• Ensure proper communication flow.

Role Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing strategically a network of suppliers for the Steel, Metal, MRO, and Industrial Product.
