Job summary

Inspiration Manpower Consultancy in Pune seeks a Sourcing & Procurement Associate to manage end-to-end procurement for assigned categories, source suppliers, and handle PO creation and follow-ups. The role requires 1–8 years in procurement and knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP.

The candidate should have strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and negotiation abilities, with flexibility for night shifts and an immediate to 15-day notice period. 5 days working, 2 days off.

Qualifications

• Experience - 1 to 8 years in Sourcing & Procurement.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge.
• Experience in Direct & Indirect Procurement.
• Hands-on experience in Spot Buying.
• Knowledge of SAP / Oracle ERP.
• Good MS Office and Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end sourcing and purchasing process for assigned categories/materials.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
• Handle requisition review, supplier selection, Purchase Order (PO) creation, and order follow-up.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value.
• Handle spot-buy activities, including sending enquiries, collecting quotations, preparing comparative statements, and providing recommendations.
• Manage Direct and Indirect Materials Procurement.
• Work on procurement processes using SAP and/or Oracle ERP
