Job summary

Evoke Technologies in Hyderabad seeks an experienced data platform leader to architect end-to-end data solutions using Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Spark technologies. You will define models, governance, and scalable pipelines to support manufacturing analytics and digital services.

You will mentor the team, drive best practices, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver enterprise BI capabilities with Power BI and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Strong expertise with Databricks, SQL, PySpark and lakehouse/Delta Lake.
• Experience with Azure ecosystem, data governance and RBAC.
• Ability to lead teams, review code, and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

Job Description :

• Lead the end-to-end and design of data platforms using databricks, Microsoft Fabric/ Synapse Analytics/ADF and SparkSQL/pyspark.
• Define and implement data models, warehouse/lakehouse designs, and normalization strategies to support manufacturing analytics.
• Establish data integration patterns, ingestion pipelines, and governance frameworks across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Drive adoption of best practices in SQL, PySpark, and data lakehouse technologies.
• Should have strong working experience in Databricks
• Good understanding of Medallion architecture

Technical Leadership & Guidance

• Partner with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Lead the team and provide reviews, performance tuning, and optimization guidance across databricks,SQL, PySpark, and Synapse/ADF/MSFabric workloads.
• Mentor and guide teams in building efficient Lakehouse, pipelines, ELT/ETL frameworks, and reusable components.
• Establish standards for security, compliance, metadata management, and lineage tracking.

Analytics & Reporting Enablement

• Lead & Develop enterprise BI solutions in Power BI, ensuring performance, usability, and self-service capabilities.
• Define semantic models and KPIs relevant to the various domains.
• Collaborate with business teams to operationalize advanced analytics, predictive maintenance, and digital twin use cases.

Technical Skills Primary

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, or analytics roles.
• Delta Lake — ACID transactions, time travel, schema evolution
• Unity Catalog — data governance & access control
• MLflow — experiment tracking & model registry
• Data Modelling (Dimensional & Relational)
• Understanding of Data Security & Governance (RBAC, Masking, etc.)
• Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture (Azure ecosystem) and DevOps/DataOps practices.
• Strong communication skills to Lead the team and handle senior business and IT stakeholders.
