Job summary

Hireginie Talent Cloud is seeking a Sr. Data Platform Consultant to design, implement, and optimize modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.

You will build lakehouse-first architectures that support analytics, BI, and AI use cases, while integrating operational data for near-real-time insights where required. You will collaborate directly with client stakeholders, design Bronze-Silver-Gold data layers, and ensure governance, security, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing Fabric-based lakehouse architectures and data pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
• Designing Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers and scalable architectures.
• Experience with ingestion and orchestration using Fabric Pipelines, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks Workflows.
• Strong SQL, Python, and data governance understanding.
• Excellent communication with client stakeholders.

About the role:

The Data Platform Consultant (Microsoft Fabric & Databricks) will design, implement, and optimise modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks as the primary analytics and data engineering platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, governed Lakehouse-first architectures that support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases, while integrating operational data and enabling near-real-time insight where required.

Responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse architecture, data pipelines, notebooks, semantic models, and Power BI integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks including Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, and performance optimisation.
• Experience designing Bronze, Silver, and Gold data architectures.
• Experience with ingestion and orchestration using Fabric Pipelines, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks Workflows.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Link for near-real-time analytics scenarios.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Good understanding of data governance, security, and metadata-driven architectures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders.
