The ACS International India Pvt Ltd. (ACS-I India) is seeking a Solutions Architect to support world‑class publishing operations. ACS Publications is established as the home of the most‑trusted, most‑cited, and most‑read journals in chemistry‑related sciences. Job Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture and technical designs for new initiatives and system enhancements for ACS Publications business operations, including Revenue Operations and Marketing (ROME) business users
• Influence the multi‑year MarTech and CDP roadmap, evaluate vendor capabilities, and guide platform evolution
• Oversee migrations and data structure integrations, ensuring clarity and accuracy in data mapping.
• Own full‑stack solutions spanning user interfaces, APIs, backend services, data pipelines, and AI integration layers
• Utilize JavaScript for quick debugging and API testing, primarily in Node.js and React environments.
• Design and implement AI‑driven systems, including agent‑based architecture and workflow orchestration that automate and optimize marketing and GTM processes
• Partner closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical designs
• Provide technical leadership and direction to both onshore and offshore development teams
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to performance, scalability, and maintainability

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in MarTech or Software Architecture roles
• Hands‑on experience in Marketing Technologies like HubSpot, Salesforce, Oracle (Eloqua), CDP (BlueConic) including its API, objects, and relationships
• Experience in migrations and understanding complex data structures.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, with the ability to read and debug code effectively.
• Familiarity with Sanity, Vercel, DemandBase, Zapier
• 5+ years of experience with any of the following technologies or frameworks: Linux or Windows environments, Java, Perl, kshell, XML/XSLT, Angular, SQL, Spring Web Flow, Spring Boot, React, Next.js
• 2+ years of experience in building cloud‑native software solutions on AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Java and web‑based application development
• Experience applying AI systems to marketing, customer engagement, or GTM workflows
• Experience and knowledge of recommending technical designs and technical architecture with any of the following technologies: AWS, Java, Python, relational databases, vector databases, embeddings, retrieval‑augmented generation, or feature stores
• Proven experience leading and guiding offshore development teams
• Strong ability to plan work, assign tasks, and deliver accurate effort estimates
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users, technical staff, and leadership
• Demonstrated leadership skills to drive teams toward successful project outcomes
• Ability to quickly adapt and respond to changing business and technical requirements
