MathCo is seeking a Data Science Consultant to join the Solutioning Team in Bengaluru. You will understand prospects' analytics needs, design tailored data science strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft end-to-end solutions that showcase our technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data science, ML, and statistical modelling experience.
• End-to-end delivery of data science projects.
• 2–3 years of direct client engagement with data solutions.
• Degree in a quantitative field (DS / Stats / CS).

Job Description

• As a Data Science Consultant in the Solutioning Team, you will be instrumental in understanding the unique data science and analytics needs of our prospects and crafting tailored solutions that showcase our technical excellence. Your responsibilities will span from delving into problem spaces, collaborating with cross- 2 functional teams, and engaging with potential clients to actively contributing to the conceptualize-design-sell-win process. As a Data Science consultant, your role will entail:
• Engaging with potential clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, actively contributing to the conceptualize-design-sell-win process.
• Conducting thorough research within the problem space, building a robust understanding to design custom data and analytics strategies for the prospect.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, translating client requirements, and delivering tailored data and analytics solutions.
• Demonstrating proficiency in estimating and aligning a realistic end-to-end data science project roadmap, ensuring buy-in from respective internal and client stakeholders
• Leading as a technical advisor during client pitch meetings, providing valuable insights and expertise to demonstrate our capabilities.
• Fostering a collaborative environment by mentoring team members, promoting continuous learning, and instilling an innovation culture. Collaboration and Communication (30%)
• Weaving compelling storytelling through data, translating intricate analyses into stories that align with the specific needs and aspiration of the prospective clients.

Skills Required

• Demonstrate hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modelling, revealing a profound understanding of advanced analytical techniques.
• Bring forth past experience in delivering end-to-end data science solutions, illustrating your capability to manage the entire lifecycle of a data science project.
• Experience in using MS PowerPoint, Figma & similar tools for impactful presentations.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in direct client engagement, understanding client needs, and translating them into impactful data science solutions, with a keen eye for technical detail
• Hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
