We are looking for a Solution Specialist / Senior Solution Engineer with strong expertise in Telecom Core Networks, Subscriber Data Management (SDM), solution architecture, integration, deployment, and technical implementation.

The role will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, developing technical solutions and architectures, supporting bids and pre‑sales activities, leading technical implementation, and providing hands‑on expertise throughout customer projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both technical and management stakeholders and contributing as an individual specialist as well as a team player.

General Purpose

Proactively plan and perform advanced technical activities requiring knowledge across multiple technology areas or at system level to deliver customer solutions. The role prioritizes activities based on customer impact and provides specialized technical expertise at customer sites whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop parts of, or provide input to, unique customer architectures and contribute to the overall technical solution design.
• Design and independently execute integration, deployment, operations, and performance solutions within customer projects.
• Gather and analyze customer requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.
• Influence the customer's technical direction during the sales and solutioning process.
• Act as a key technical contributor within bid teams and coordinate the technical aspects of proposals.
• Develop detailed customer solution designs and architectures.
• Perform technical risk evaluation for proposed solutions and identify mitigation approaches.
• Own the technical aspects of bid preparation, including:
• Solution design and architecture
• Scope of Work (SOW)
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Technical assumptions and dependencies
• Support contract negotiations by clearly defining and protecting the technical and SI scope.
• Lead technical implementation activities during the delivery phase.
• Present solution architecture and technical designs to customers for validation and incorporate required adaptations.
• Support the main Customer Consultant and broader solution team.
• Work closely with Engagement Architects, Product Managers, Project Managers, regional teams, and third‑party product teams.
• Align customer requirements with available generic solutions, telecom products, and third‑party technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex network, integration, deployment, and call‑flow‑related issues.
• Support solution deployment, architecture creation, integration, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement of solution deployment and operations.

Technical Expertise & Skills

Telecom & Core Network

• Strong knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, and IMS networks and associated call flows.
• Strong understanding of 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile networks.
• Strong understanding of HLR, HSS, IMS, and VoLTE call flows.
• Experience in solution design and implementation of Core Network and SDM elements, including:
• UDM
• SDL
• HLR
• HSS
• IMS Nodes
• One‑NDS
• MNP
• EIR
• Strong understanding of Subscriber Data Management (SDM) solution integration.
• Experience with subscriber database migration involving UDM, HLR, HSS, EIR, and MNP.
• Experience preparing High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Ability to create and support solution architecture and detailed technical designs.
• Experience in solution deployment, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to quickly understand new solutions and technologies and deliver them to customers.
• Ability to troubleshoot call‑flow‑related issues and implement appropriate resolutions.

Cloud, Virtualization & Infrastructure

• Hands‑on experience with cloud, virtualization, and VNF/CNF deployments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or OpenStack.
• Experience installing and commissioning telecom software on physical or virtualized infrastructure.
• Experience with HP server hardware, including:
• Power and network cabling
• Hardware positioning and commissioning
• Experience installing and configuring Juniper Top‑of‑Rack switches and associated cabling.
• Experience positioning commissioned racks within customer server rooms and connecting power and network infrastructure.
• Experience installing SDM/Core Network software such as UDM, SDL, NT‑HLR, IMS Node, and One‑NDS on commissioned hardware.
• Basic understanding of hardware firmware and HP product specifications.

Networking & Operating Systems

• Strong understanding of IP networking.
• Experience with router and switch configuration and troubleshooting.
• Advanced‑level knowledge of Linux or Solaris operating systems.
• Experience using network troubleshooting and analysis tools such as Wireshark.

Automation & Scripting

• Ability to contribute to automation initiatives.
• Basic scripting knowledge in one or more of the following is an advantage:
• Shell Scripting
• Perl
• Python
• Ansible
