Job summary

Partner Company in India is seeking a Solution Engineer to help customers turn complex data challenges into practical analytics solutions. You will implement an enterprise analytics platform across data platforms, cloud environments, databases, and use cases, while advising customers and internal teams.

The role combines hands-on delivery with solution design, customer enablement, and project scoping. You’ll work across data platforms, cloud environments, databases, and analytics use cases,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience implementing analytics, BI, or related data software products.
• Experience with at least one major data platform: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift, or S3.
• SQL and Linux server administration.
• Data modeling principles for analytics solutions.
• Experience with cloud-based apps on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Nice to have: Oracle EBS, Fusion, SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite.
• Nice to have: Python, Scala, R, SAS, or Apache Spark.

Responsibilities

• Implement the analytics platform according to complex customer requirements and project objectives.
• Develop understanding of platform capabilities and best practices, and apply them across customer use cases.
• Guide customers and colleagues on how to effectively use the platform for different analytics and business scenarios.
• Define project scope, technical requirements, and level-of-effort estimates for implementation engagements.
• Create detailed technical design documentation covering architecture, configuration, and implementation approach.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver implementations.
• Communicate project progress, requirements, risks, and technical considerations clearly across stakeholders.
• Share implementation knowledge and best practices with the wider team.
• Report to Solution Engineering leadership and contribute to successful delivery across engagements.

You will implement an enterprise analytics platform against diverse technical and business requirements, while becoming a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams. The position combines hands-on technical delivery with solution design, customer enablement, and project scoping. You’ll work across data platforms, cloud environments, databases, and analytics use cases. The role involves close collaboration with customers, partners, and cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment. You’ll also contribute to technical documentation and help ensure implementations follow scalable, effective best practices.

Accountabilities

• Implement the analytics platform according to complex customer requirements and project objectives.

• Develop a strong understanding of platform capabilities, features, and implementation best practices, and apply them across customer use cases.

• Guide customers and colleagues on how to effectively use the platform for different analytics and business scenarios.

• Contribute to defining project scope, technical requirements, and level-of-effort estimates for implementation engagements.

• Create detailed technical design documentation covering the architecture, configuration, and implementation approach for delivered solutions.

• Collaborate effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver successful implementations.

• Support continuous improvement by sharing implementation knowledge, technical learnings, and recommended practices with the wider team.

• Report to the Solution Engineering leadership team and contribute to successful delivery across multiple customer engagements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience implementing analytics, business intelligence, or related data software products.

• Experience working with at least one major data platform or database, such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, or Amazon S3.

• Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Linux server administration.

• Practical understanding of data modeling principles and their application to analytics solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud-based applications and architectures running on Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or AWS.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining technical concepts to customers and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively across customer, partner, engineering, and professional services teams.

• Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and working effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Willingness to continuously learn new technologies, platform capabilities, and implementation approaches.

• Nice to have: experience with enterprise applications such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Salesforce, or NetSuite.

• Nice to have: familiarity with advanced analytics technologies and languages including Python, Scala, R, SAS, or Apache Spark.
