Western Union in Pune seeks a Solution Architect, DevOps & Release Management to lead platform modernization across Risk & Compliance tech. You will drive CI/CD, IaC adoption, and release governance while partnering with Engineering, Security, and EA teams to enhance reliability and governance.

As a Solution Architect, DevOps & Release Management, within the Risk and Compliance team based in Pune,. You will play a critical role in driving the DevOps and platform engineering adoption across the Risk & Compliance technology ecosystem. You will partner closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Product, and Enterprise Architecture teams to modernize CI/CD capabilities, advance Infrastructure-as-Code adoption, strengthen observability and operational readiness, and establish best-in-class release management practices. You will be responsible for architecting cloud and hybrid platform release solutions that enhance developer productivity, improve deployment reliability, and ensure governance standards are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. You will provide technical leadership for platform automation initiatives, drive continuous improvement across release and deployment processes, and champion engineering excellence through standardization, innovation, and automation. Your contributions will directly support business agility, risk reduction, compliance adherence, and the successful delivery of strategic Risk & Compliance programs.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field preferred, with 6-10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, Release Management, or Infrastructure Automation, including 4+ years in an Architect, Lead, or Principal role.
