Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Solution Architect - Onboarding based in India to guide enterprise customers from contract to production-ready cloud environments. You will work across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, delivering secure networking, IAM, data ingestion, and observability, while coordinating with customer teams and internal services.

You will design scalable onboarding plans, create ADRs, and provide hands-on cloud and infrastructure expertise across multi-cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in a highly technical, customer-facing onboarding/engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers to define success criteria, KPIs, milestones, technical requirements, and risk mitigation plans.
• Guide setup and deployment of managed or self-managed cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Design secure networking architectures using VPC/VNet, routing, peering, private endpoints, and IP allow lists.
• Establish security foundations including TLS/SSL, encryption at rest, SSO, IAM, and RBAC.
• Architect and support data ingestion, bulk imports, streaming pipelines, and CDC processes.
• Advise on database driver configuration, connection pooling, retry strategies, and query performance.
• Help customers implement observability for logs and metrics.
• Deliver technical workshops on query optimization, backup/recovery, data modeling, and best practices.
• Produce architecture diagrams, ADRs, and implementation guidance.
• Coordinate delivery workstreams and transitions to professional services and cloud operations.
• Capture feedback to improve onboarding methodologies and frameworks.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solution Architect - Onboarding based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise technology, cloud architecture, and customer success, helping organizations establish strong technical foundations from the beginning. You will guide customers from signed contracts through secure, production-ready environments and accelerated time-to-value. The position combines architectural advisory, hands‑on cloud and infrastructure work, data integration, security, and technical consulting. You will work across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud while supporting both managed and self‑managed deployment models. Success will depend on your ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical onboarding plans and scalable solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with enterprise customers, development teams, vendors, and internal professional services and operations groups in a customer‑focused environment.

Accountabilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers to define success criteria, KPIs, milestones, technical requirements, and project risk mitigation plans.
• Guide the setup and deployment of managed cloud environments or self‑managed database clusters across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Design and implement secure networking architectures using VPC/VNet configurations, routing, peering, private endpoints, and IP allow lists.
• Establish security foundations including system hardening, TLS/SSL, encryption at rest, enterprise SSO, IAM, and least‑privilege RBAC.
• Architect and support data ingestion solutions, including bulk imports, streaming pipelines, and Change Data Capture (CDC) processes.
• Advise development teams on database driver configuration, connection pooling, retry strategies, query performance, and application integration.
• Help customers implement enterprise observability solutions for application and infrastructure logs and metrics.
• Deliver technical workshops covering query optimization, backup and recovery strategies, data modeling, and platform best practices.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), implementation guidance, and transition backlogs.
• Coordinate complex delivery workstreams and ensure a smooth transition to professional services, cloud operations, and other long‑term support teams.
• Capture customer feedback, technical lessons, and field insights to continuously improve onboarding methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a highly technical, customer‑facing role such as onboarding engineering, customer success engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or technical consulting.
• Hands‑on experience supporting production workloads in at least one major cloud ecosystem, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of networking infrastructure, including VPC/VNet architectures, routing, network peering, and PrivateLink/private endpoints.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise Identity and Access Management, including SSO using OIDC or SAML and Role‑Based Access Control.
• Strong Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience, particularly with Terraform; familiarity with Ansible is an advantage.
• Experience with Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, and managed container platforms.
• Experience with graph databases and database querying or performance tuning is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cypher or similar graph‑query technologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of modern observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Splunk.
• Exposure to enterprise data movement technologies, including ETL and Change Data Capture frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud compliance and data residency requirements, including frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA.
• Strong customer‑facing communication, consulting, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to translate complex technical challenges into practical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across APAC and EMEA and providing occasional flexibility for after‑hours customer or stakeholder calls.
• Strong focus on customer outcomes, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
