Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced senior IMS/Core Network architect in Hyderabad to design and implement IMS-based voice solutions including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and VoNR. You will architect IMS core components, integrate with EPC/5G Core, and drive architecture governance across design, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing IMS-based voice solutions end-to-end.
• Knowledge of IMS Core Architecture and mobile voice services.
• Expertise in SIP signaling and Diameter protocol.
• Ability to map business requirements to HLDs/LLDs.
• Experience with EPC/5G Core integration and interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement IMS-based voice solutions including VoLTE, VoWiFi, and VoNR.
• Architect and integrate IMS Core components (P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, SBC, TAS, HSS/UDM).
• Design integrations with EPC and 5G Core networks.
• Lead architecture reviews, design assurance, and interoperability assessments.
• Perform capacity planning, resiliency analysis, and scalability assessments.
• Ensure traceability from HLD to LLD across design, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership during integration, system testing, and migration activities.
• Collaborate with operators, vendors, engineering teams, and stakeholders to resolve architecture challenges.
• Contribute to cloud-native IMS evolution, automation strategies, and autonomous network initiatives.
