Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced IMS Core and telecom integration specialist to deploy, integrate, migrate, and support IMS-based voice platforms within a multi-vendor environment.

You will configure CSCF, HSS, BGCF, MGW, and related elements, ensure interoperability with EPC and 5G Core, and lead deployment validation, MOPs, and post-release activities while coordinating with architecture, testing, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of IMS Core integration and mobile voice services.
• Hands-on experience in IMS Core deployment, integration, migration, and operations.
• Understanding of IMS architecture, interfaces, and signaling flows.
• Experience integrating IMS with EPC, 5G Core, PSTN, and external platforms.
• Experience with multi-vendor interoperability validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based cloud deployment and containerization.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, migrate, and provide operational support for IMS-based voice platforms.
• Install, configure, and integrate IMS Core components, including CSCF, BGCF, HSS, MGW, and related network elements.
• Execute software releases, feature activations, patch deployments, network upgrades, and modernization activities.
• Perform Method of Procedure (MOP) activities, including pre-checks, implementation, rollback, and post-deployment validation.
• Integrate IMS Core platforms with EPC, 5G Core, PSTN, and external service platforms.
• Conduct interoperability validation and troubleshoot issues across multi-vendor environments.
• Analyze deployment failures, integration issues, and service impacts, and drive resolution activities.
• Support maintenance windows, emergency changes, and production rollout activities.
• Prepare deployment documentation, operational handover documents, implementation reports, MOPs, and runbooks.
• Coordinate with architecture, testing, operations, and vendor teams during implementation activities.

Required Skills and Expertise

IMS and Telecom Domain

• Deep knowledge of IMS Core integration and mobile voice services as the primary technical skill.
• Strong hands-on experience in IMS Core deployment, integration, migration, and operations.
• Strong understanding of IMS architecture, network elements, interfaces, and signaling flows.
• Experience integrating IMS with EPC, 5G Core, PSTN, and external service platforms.
• Experience with interoperability validation and troubleshooting in multi-vendor telecom environments.

Cloud-Native Deployment and Automation

• Experience with Kubernetes-based Cloud-Native Function (CNF) deployment.
• Working knowledge of Docker containers, Helm charts, and cloud-native platform integration.
• Exposure to agent-based tools for configuration and deployment validation.

Linux and Production Operations

• Strong knowledge of Linux-based environments and telecom deployment practices.
• Experience with production support, operational readiness, release governance, and change implementation.
• Ability to support controlled maintenance windows, emergency changes, and rollback procedures.
