Job summary

XenonStack is seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to design and oversee enterprise-grade cloud and DevOps architectures across multi-cloud environments. The role focuses on secure, scalable, high-performing systems, guiding teams in automation, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include end-to-end architecture strategy, enterprise CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployment models, DevSecOps practices, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability Engineering with at least 3 years in an architect/lead role.
• Deep AWS expertise (multi-account, security, and networking) with exposure to Azure/GCP.
• Proven track record designing CI/CD frameworks with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar at enterprise scale.
• Advanced Kubernetes, Helm, and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• Infrastructure-as-Code tooling experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Cloud security architecture, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
• Observability/monitoring architectures with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry.
• Strong distributed systems, networking, and hybrid/multi-cloud patterns.
• Leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end DevOps architecture strategy.
• Architect and implement enterprise-level CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Lead container orchestration strategy with Kubernetes, service mesh technologies, and microservices deployment models.
• Establish DevSecOps practices, integrating security, compliance, and governance into every stage of the delivery pipeline.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to define cloud-native reference architectures for AI, data, and agentic workloads.
• Oversee observability strategy— logging, metrics, tracing, and incident response processes.
• Drive cost optimization and capacity planning across AWS, Azure, and on-premise environments.
• Mentor senior DevOps engineers, setting coding and automation best practices.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concepts for strategic adoption.
