Job summary

o9 Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect for Demand Planning in Bengaluru. You will drive end-to-end project delivery, translating business needs into o9 platform configurations and phased blueprints.

You’ll lead sessions, manage data dependencies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex supply chain challenges. Applicants should have 7+ years’ experience in supply chain planning implementations and hold a Master’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience implementing supply chain planning applications.
• Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of optimization, simulation and planning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of a project from design to deployment of o9’s solutions.
• Map business requirements into the o9 platform and craft a phased blueprint.
• Lead blueprinting sessions and publish requirements with data dependencies.
• Configure solutions with cross-functional teams to address operations and supply chain problems.
• Coordinate defect tracking, analysis and resolution with the customer.
• Contribute to process and feature improvements based on feedback.
• Support customer demonstrations and mentor junior team members.

What you’ll do for us

• Lead the complete lifecycle of a project from design to deployment of o9’s solutions to customers across industries and geographies.


• Effectively map the business requirements into o9's platform and come up with a clear, phased achievable blueprint.


• Lead the blueprinting sessions and publish the business requirements along with key design decisions and data dependencies.


• Work with a team of experts to configure, solution as per the design to solve deep operations / supply chain problems and institute rigorous performance monitoring process.


• Work with the customer to resolve issues and coordinate defect tracking, analysis and resolution process.


• Diligently help in improving internal processes and product features based on customer feedback by interfacing with the development and operations teams.


• Support customer demonstrations.


• Be a mentor and guide to junior members.

What you'll have

• Experience: 7+ years of experience with implementing supply chain planning applications is a MUST.


• Education: Master's Degree. Degrees in the following fields: Operations Research, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields (including Supply Chain Engineering)

Skills:

• Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R,SAS, CPLEX or similar is desirable.


• Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Distribution Planning, Master Planning and S&OP.


• Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar is desirable.


• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.


• Experience in a planning solution deployment w.r.t to business requirement determination, solution and process design decisions, best practices prescription and value delivery.


• Experience using agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise implementations.


• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams, distributed across locations and time zones.
