Solution Architect

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Solution Architect to drive the technical vision and end-to-end design of our enterprise applications.

In this role, you will be the bridge between business objectives and technical execution, taking ownership of the application landscape, integration strategies, and system data flows.

You will sit at the intersection of leadership and engineering, presenting solutions to the Architecture Review Board (ARB), collaborating directly with Client Chief Architects, and guiding development teams through complex technical challenges.

If you have a deep understanding of modern architectural patterns and a talent for removing development bottlenecks through clear, resilient design, we want you to lead our technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Strategy :

• End-to-End Solutioning: Design comprehensive, scalable solutions spanning web architecture, data flows, security frameworks, and seamless integration with Custom-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and legacy applications.
• Landscape Mastery: Maintain a holistic understanding of the end-to-end application ecosystem, ensuring optimized data flow and integration across disparate systems.
• Low-Level Design (LLD): Translate high-level architectural visions into detailed Low-Level Designs (LLD) for development teams to execute.
• Pattern Application: Apply a deep understanding of diverse architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven, Monolithic, SOA) to solve specific business and technical challenges.

Stakeholder Alignment & Governance

• Technical Liaison: Partner directly with Customer Chief Architects and Lead Architects to align on technical strategy and make key architectural decisions.
• ARB Approvals: Present architectural blueprints and solution proposals to the Architecture Review Board (ARB), defending technical choices and securing necessary approvals.
• Requirements Engineering: Collaborate with Business and Technical Stakeholders to define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and identify functional areas requiring specialized technical solutioning.

Technical Leadership & Execution

• Development Guidance: Ensure development teams implement solutions strictly aligned with the approved architecture. Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshoot complex architectural issues.
• Unblocking Teams: Coordinate closely with individual application architects and Tech Leads to bridge solution gaps and eliminate development bottlenecks.
• Risk Management: Partner with the program management team to proactively identify technical risks, assess their impact, and develop robust mitigation strategies.

• Integration & APIM: Deep expertise in designing robust application integrations, API management strategies utilizing Azure APIM, and managing complex data flows.
• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the Retirement domain (e.g., 401k plans, pension systems) is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
