Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a senior Solution Architect to translate strategic customer requirements into scalable, secure platform solutions across its AI-Ready Governance Platform. You will collaborate with Product, Customer Engineering and Architecture teams to drive architecture decisions and scalable implementations.

You will partner with strategic customers, lead architecture workshops, and help shape the platform across Privacy, Risk, and Governance domains while ensuring security and compliance.”

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale SaaS platforms and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and integration frameworks.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers on solution architecture, requirements analysis, and technical strategy.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, container technologies, Kubernetes, messaging systems, and modern application architectures.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems for enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence product direction through architecture leadership and customer insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present to executives, customers, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Define scalable solution architectures: Design and evolve scalable architectures spanning Privacy, Consent & Preferences, Risk & Governance, AI Governance, and Compliance solutions.
• Partner with Strategic Customers: Serve as the trusted technical advisor for Design Partner customers; lead architecture workshops and technical discovery sessions.
• Bridge Product Vision and Technical Execution: Collaborate with Product Specialists, Product Management, and Engineering to validate designs and translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Drive Platform and Integration Excellence: Define integration patterns, API strategies, data models, identity architectures, event-driven workflows, and governance controls.
• Accelerate AI-Powered Solution Innovation: Apply AI-driven approaches to improve architecture decisions and operational efficiency while maintaining governance and security.
• Establish Technical Standards & Best Practices: Drive architecture governance, reviews, and reusable implementation patterns; mentor engineers.

The Challenge

As a Solution Architect within the Design Partner Program, you will serve as the technical leader responsible for translating strategic customer requirements into scalable, secure, and reusable platform solutions across OneTrust's AI-Ready Governance Platform. You will operate at the intersection of Product Management, Customer Engineering, Architecture, and Software Development, helping shape the future of Privacy, Consent, Risk, AI Governance, and Compliance solutions.

You will work directly with strategic customers, Product Specialists, Engineering leaders, and Product Management teams to understand business objectives, identify architectural patterns, validate technical approaches, and accelerate delivery of customer-driven innovations. Your role is not simply to solve today's customer problem, but to design solutions that scale across the broader OneTrust platform and customer base.

Success in this role means accelerating customer adoption, reducing implementation complexity, improving product quality, influencing architecture strategy, and transforming customer requirements into differentiated platform capabilities that create long-term competitive advantage.

Your Mission

• Define Scalable Solution Architectures: Design and evolve scalable architectures spanning Privacy, Consent & Preferences, Risk & Governance, AI Governance, and Compliance solutions. Establish architectural patterns that balance customer flexibility with platform standardization and long-term maintainability.
• Partner with Strategic Customers: Serve as the trusted technical advisor for Design Partner customers. Lead architecture workshops, solution reviews, integration assessments, and technical discovery sessions to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable solution designs.
• Bridge Product Vision and Technical Execution: Collaborate closely with Product Specialists, Product Management, and Engineering teams to validate designs, refine requirements, and ensure technical feasibility. Help transform customer feedback into product capabilities, reference architectures, and roadmap investments.
• Drive Platform and Integration Excellence: Define integration patterns, API strategies, data models, identity architectures, event-driven workflows, and governance controls that enable customers to seamlessly connect OneTrust with their broader technology ecosystem. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and operationally resilient.
• Accelerate AI-Powered Solution Innovation: Partner with engineering teams to apply AI-driven approaches that simplify implementation, improve architecture decisions, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to leverage AI across customer solutions while maintaining governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Establish Technical Standards & Best Practices: Drive architecture governance, design reviews, technical standards, and reusable implementation patterns across Customer Engineering and Product Engineering teams. Mentor engineers and architects while helping establish long-term architectural consistency across the platform.

Your Experience Includes

• 8 -12 years of software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture experience.

• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and integration frameworks.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers on solution architecture, requirements analysis, and technical strategy.(Recommended enhancement for DPP alignment.)
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, container technologies, Kubernetes, messaging systems, and modern application architectures.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems for enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence product direction through architecture leadership and customer insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present to executives, customers, and technical teams.
• Experience with Privacy, Consent, Risk, Governance, Security, Compliance, Data Management, or AI Governance domains preferred.
• Experience mentoring engineers and establishing architecture standards across multiple teams.
