Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a Sr Staff Solutions Architect (Design Partner Program) in Bengaluru. You will partner with strategic enterprise customers to understand objectives, lead workshops, and translate requirements into scalable designs that influence product direction and governance tooling.

You will shape architectures, drive platform adoption, and deliver measurable outcomes across privacy, risk, governance, and data use at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Consulting, Technical Product Leadership, Customer Engineering, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Proven experience with enterprise SaaS customers to gather requirements, lead discovery, shape technical strategy, design solutions, and drive adoption.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Sr Staff Solutions Architect (Design Partner Program)

The Challenge

We're looking for a Solutions Architect to join our R&D Customer Engineering organisation and partner with strategic Design Partner customers. This is a highly customer-facing role that sits at the intersection of solution architecture, product strategy, and enterprise governance.

You will work directly with customers to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, regulatory considerations, and strategic objectives. Acting as the bridge between customers, Product Management, Engineering, and Executive Leadership, you will help shape product direction, influence roadmap investments, and design scalable solutions that deliver measurable customer outcomes.

Success in this role means helping customers operationalise trust, governance, privacy, risk management, consent, and responsible data use while accelerating adoption, improving implementation outcomes, and driving long-term platform value.

Your Mission

• Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand business objectives, technical requirements, operational challenges, and strategic priorities.
• Lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, solution assessments, and technical design sessions.
• Translate customer needs into scalable solution architectures, implementation strategies, and reusable design patterns.
• Bridge customer requirements with Product Management and Engineering teams by identifying product gaps, influencing roadmap priorities, and driving platform improvements.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise solutions across workflows, integrations, APIs, data models, governance processes, and operational architectures.
• Drive measurable customer outcomes through successful adoption, implementation quality, operational efficiency, governance maturity, and long-term platform value.
• Create reference architectures, best practices, implementation standards, and reusable solution patterns that improve customer success and scalability.

You Are

• A customer-facing technical leader who operates at the intersection of solution architecture, business strategy, and enterprise technology.
• Comfortable engaging with executives, architects, engineers, product leaders, privacy, risk, compliance, security, governance, identity, marketing, and business stakeholders.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts, architecture decisions, and regulatory requirements into clear business outcomes.
• A systems thinker who designs for scalability, security, resilience, maintainability, and long-term platform success.
• Influential without direct authority and effective at driving alignment across cross-functional teams.

Your Experience Includes

• 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Consulting, Technical Product Leadership, Customer Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles within enterprise SaaS organisations.
• Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers to gather requirements, lead discovery, shape technical strategy, design solutions, and drive adoption.
• Strong solution architecture experience, including APIs, integrations, workflow design, data models, enterprise platforms, governance controls, security, and scalable implementation patterns.
• Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering teams to influence product direction and solve complex customer challenges.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Experience designing reusable frameworks, reference architectures, implementation patterns, best practices, and solution standards.

Domain Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Privacy, Risk & Governance, Compliance, Security Governance, Data Governance, Consent & Preference Management, Identity, MarTech, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), or related enterprise SaaS domains.
