Job summary

ESP Engineered in Nagpur City, Maharashtra is looking for an engineering design professional to manage project designs for solar and electrical systems. You will be responsible for preparing designs, calculations, and BoMs, while collaborating closely with the Project Execution team. Additionally, expertise in PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD is essential. This role plays a critical part in the development and optimization of solar installations.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering design work and communicate daily with the Project Execution team.
• Prepare designs and calculations, including BoM with technical details.
• Design DC & AC systems, including switchgear and protection ratings.
• Design for solar rooftop PV projects, including stringing calculations.
• Conduct shadow analysis for solar projects.
• Generate PVsyst reports to estimate solar plant yield.
• Review AutoCAD designs and prepare HelioScope scenes and reports.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage the work of engineering design of different projects, recognize the requirements from the Project Execution team and interact with them on a daily basis regarding the design & engineering concept of the projects in hand.
• Prepare the design and do the calculations and delivering to the Project Execution team. And also prepare the BoM with technical details.
• DC & AC side designing which includes design & selection, calculating the rating of the switchgear and protection required in the system, cable sizing, Earthing calculations, etc.
• DC side designing of solar rooftop PV projects, which includes the stringing calculations.
• Shadow Analysis of the solar project.
• PVsyst report for estimating the Yield Generation of the Solar Plant. Fluent in PVsyst and Helioscope.
• Reviewal of AutoCAD Design. Preparing HelioScope Scene, PVSyst Report, and Google Sketchup.
