Job summary

AR Saurtech Energy Private Limited is seeking a Solar CAD Designer to convert survey information and engineering inputs into clear, buildable drawing packages for rooftop solar projects. You will collaborate with site engineers, electrical designers, procurement, and project teams to deliver accurate drawings.

Responsibilities include preparing roof layouts, creating single-line diagrams, reviewing surveys, and ensuring adherence to drawing standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Drafting, or related discipline.
• 1–4 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in solar, electrical, MEP, construction, or EPC projects.
• Strong command of layers, blocks, dimensions, plotting, layouts, scaling, and drawing organization.
• Ability to interpret site surveys, electrical concepts, technical markups, and installation requirements.
• Accuracy, revision discipline, and ability to deliver drawings against project timelines.

• Maintain drawing standards, file naming, revision control, issue logs, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate design clarifications and revisions with engineering, site, sales, and project teams.
