Job summary

XL Dynamics is seeking a Software Manual Tester to join our pan-India operations. The role requires 1–4 years of manual testing experience, API testing with REST, and familiarity with Postman and Jira. Night/Day shift; salary negotiable based on skill and experience.

You will analyze business requirements, create test cases, execute tests, track defects, and contribute to release notes. Knowledge of STLC, JSON, and Agile practices is a plus; chatbot/AI experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manual testing experience.
• Experience with API testing (REST) and tools like Postman.
• Working knowledge of Jira and JSON data.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with STLC and release notes.
• Knowledge of chatbot or AI applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create test cases.
• Execute test cases and perform regression tests.
• Prepare testing reports and release notes.
• Track bugs and follow up until resolution.
• Apply STLC knowledge throughout testing.
• Review test plans and provide feedback.
• Perform API testing (REST) using Postman.
• Utilize Jira for issue tracking and JSON data.
• Demonstrate strong communication, QA and agile practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze Business requirements and prepare test cases based on the plans issued.
• Execution of test cases, Regress test
• Preparation of a testing report.
• Bug tracking and follow up.
• Complete STLC knowledge & working experience.
• Preparation of release notes.
• Test plan reviews.

• 1+ years of Manual Testing experience
